I'm a girl who just bought my first motorcycle, and it needs work. I am determined to do most of it myself. This journey will be epic.

Big girl ride
Today, I am going for a big girl ride! We are going to the bookstore and then for ice cream. Weee! That means we have to ride on REAL roads, IN TRAFFIC. Aaahhh! Look out!
Thanks for checking out my blog. It's about my new motorcycle and learning how to fix it up and take care of it myself. I would love it if you became a follower! And if you have advice to give, please leave a comment. You may also want to check out my main photo album.
I am a Muncie transplant, a young professional who believes in Muncie as a green community. I was born in Malmö, Sweden and have a B.S. in Environmental Science from Malmö University. I moved to Muncie in 1999, but left for two years after getting my M.S. in Natural Resources from BSU to work for IATP, a nonprofit in Minneapolis. I came back to Muncie in 2003 and have worked for a sustainable Muncie ever since. I worked for the Sierra Club, taught classes in the NREM department at BSU, and was Executive Director for the Cope Environmental Center in Richmond. I was also a chemist for the Bureau of Water Quality, and currently write grants for the Muncie Sanitary District. I am a strong believer in many local groups and have served on the boards for Red-tail Conservancy, Muncie Delaware Clean and Beautiful and been involved with the Muncie Young Professionals Group. In 2006, I founded the Smart Living Project, a nonprofit providing resources for sustainable living in Muncie. I live with my husband and my dog in the Minnetrista neighborhood and consider myself a “downtown kid”. My life is local and centered on my house, my garden and downtown, except for the occasional trip home.
